Apparently Murray is not aware of the curse of the tweener: if you successfully hit one, you lose the tournament. Or maybe he figured it didn’t count since it was a front facing tweener. Or maybe he thought the bad juju of the first one would be cancelled out by the second one. Like a double negative. I suppose one of those reasonings worked, since he did win the title. Either that or he’s cursed himself forever from winning Wimbledon. Cheeky…

“Tweeners” are horrible. Awkward and ugly, and even the name is nauseating.
I guess some people are just impressed by the flashiness, the same way some people are impressed by fake gold medallions and bling.
I feel like the only time it’s ok to hit a tweener is during an exhibition. Against a player in a real match, it’s showboating at best, and disrespectful to your opponent at worst.
