Djokovic Wins, Let the Party Begin

Djokovic won Wimbledon in his first appearance in the final, defeating Nadal 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3. With his win today, Novak has emphatically stamped his mark as the current top man in the game. 2 slams, only 1 loss in 7 months, and the number one ranking. 2011 definitely does not suck for Nole fans. And for golden trophies that prefer tender kisses to Rafa bites.

So what’s next for Djokovic? First things first: it’s time to par-tay! You thought the celebrations when Serbia won the Davis Cup were epic? Somehow I think what’s going down in Londontown and Belgrade tonight will put those timid fetes to shame.
