Smiling Soderling Media Tour (video)

Sod has been on a bit of a media blitz in Barcelona in what seems to be an attempt to make him more likeable. First he was on the Spanish talk show Buenafuente (looks like a Spanish Jay Leno type show), rocking a spikey/pointy hair-do straight out of Whoville and perma-dimples.

First, Robin is smiling non-stop during the whole interview…almost maniacally? I mean, has he ever gone this long without scowling? Though Sod, I DO NOT BELIEVE that it was “just a joke” when you imitated Rafa’s wedgie pull at Wimbledon. You were not smiling then. You were being a dick. Man up about it.

Though even I will admit he was kind of cute during the ping-pong bit. Kind of…

Where is cranky pants Sod? Have his handlers forced him into media training? Have they laced his food with happy pills??? So confused…Bring back asshole Sod because happy Sod is just no fun.
